Westacres PS Ranking

The Westacres PS ranking comes in at #13 in our overall Mississauga public elementary school rankings. Westacres PS is located in the neighbourhood of Lakeview in southeast Mississauga just north of the QEW. Westacres PS is a curious case that I’ll have to keep my eyes on as 2 out of the past 5 years, they haven’t actually qualified for a Grade 3 EQAO rating. With its low enrollment, the Peel Board decided to extend the boundaries to include approximately 120 students from the struggling Brian W. Fleming PS. This transition occurred in September 2013, so we’ll be able to see how that transition affects their scores but for now Westacres is still a very good option for those looking just outside the more traditional Lakeview area south of the QEW.
