Sawmill Valley PS is a JK-5 public elementary school located in the neighbourhood of Erin Mills. It has approximately 380 students and does not have a French Immersion track.
It’s been well over a decade since the city of Mississauga decided to shut down three Erin Mills schools citing declining enrolment. Since then, there have been major changes which has seen Sawmill Valley PS become a JK-5 school whereas before it was a JK-6 school.
Despite the changes, the school has carried on and continued to perform very well every year in the Mississauga elementary school rankings.
In fact, this is the best pocket in all of Erin Mills and one of the best in the city for a growing family. Reasonably priced detached homes, easy access to all amenities and highways, nice parks and a very family-friendly neighbourhood with a very good school. Sawmill Valley PS and Erin Mills comes highly recommended by me to my clients!
