Boasting both the ‘Business’ and ‘Arts & Culture’ Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) programs, Iroquois Ridge continues to be a highly-targeted school for families moving to or within Oakville.

If you’re aiming to move to the neighbourhood, it’s most definitely the standout area of Joshua Creek that people gravitate towards.

#2. Oakville Trafalgar
Neighbourhood: Clearview | Ford | Morrison | Old Oakville
Specialist Programs: Engineering & Robotics | Health Science & Wellness| ICT | STEM
SCORE: 9.7/10
Previous Rank: #2
Oakville Trafalgar (aka “OT”) is Oakville’s 2nd-oldest high school, first opening its doors in 1908. Much has changed since then with the school moving to its current-day location on Devon Rd in 1992.
What hasn’t changed is OT’s ranking as one of the best schools in the province. This year it retains its spot at #2 in the rankings.

As for its catchment area, it is one of Oakville’s most expensive, housing some incredible private estates, colonial homes, mid-century bungalows and custom homes. However, there are more affordable options in the secluded Clearview pocket on the eastern edge of the city.
