Gairloch Gardens
Gairloch Gardens sits right on the shore of Lake Ontario and is a local gem. It used to be a private estate but was gifted to the Town, and now it’s open to everyone. The lake views are amazing, and the gardens are beautifully landscaped with colorful flowers that change throughout the seasons.
If you’re into art, the Oakville Galleries inside the main house showcase contemporary exhibits that are always worth a look. Right nearby, the Municipal Greenhouses are a nice little escape. They’re open year-round, with rotating plant displays, a pond, and even a small waterfall.
