Parks & Trails in Joshua Creek
For nature lovers, there are tons of hiking trails along the Joshua Creek Trail system. This is a 6km pathway that follows the Joshua Creek watershed from the base of Winston Churchill Boulevard to Dundas Street and Ninth Line.
Along the trail, you’ll see mature forests, ravines, and a variety of wildlife, making it a pleasant escape within the suburbs. The trail is family-friendly and suitable for all skill levels, with relatively flat terrain and shaded areas provided by mature tree canopies. While the trail is open year-round, it doesn’t receive maintenance during the winter months, so be careful it can be icy.
