Churchill Meadows overview

Churchill Meadows is located in the northwest corner of Mississauga bordering close to Milton. It’s located just northwest of the Erin Mills Town Centre which is located at Erin Mills & Eglinton just north of Hwy 403.

The neighbourhood stretches north to Britannia Road bordered by Lisgar to the North, Central Erin Mills to the East and Erin Mills to the South.

Churchill Meadows is a master-planned community and remains one of Mississauga’s youngest neighbourhoods. Young families have flocked here because of the availability of affordable homes and great schools.

For many, this is Mississauga’s best “first home” neighbourhood as the real estate is generous and parks and schools are aplenty with big retail close by.

Churchill Meadows real estate

home styles in Churchill Meadows

Churchill Meadows is one of the most affordable neighbourhoods in Mississauga. Generally speaking, the further north you go in the neighbourhood, the better the pricing.

However, at the southern corner of Eglinton and Winston Churchill you will find lots of townhomes and condos along Eglinton. This is close to the Erin Mills Town Centre and the 403 making it great for first time buyers.

For those looking for a bit more home, there are plenty in Churchill Meadows. In fact, it has some of the most affordable 3500+ sq.ft homes in Mississauga. The tradeoff? Lot size. You’re typically getting more house but much less backyard. That’s the nature of newer subdivisions. It does allow for multigenerational-living if you have parents and a larger family.

For those looking for real estate in Mississauga that is under 20 years old, unfortunately the city has matured beyond that now. Churchill Meadows homes are some of the youngest and most well-maintained though, so if you’re looking for a relatively modern home that doesn’t break the bank, this might be the right fit for you.

Finally, if you’re looking for luxury neighbourhoods in Mississauga, Churchill Meadows isn’t really that, but there are a couple of great pockets in the south of the neighbourhood where you can get beautifully modern and large homes.

For the average family, there are tons of options in this neighbourhood. So, if you’re a first time home buyer or looking to upsize at an affordable price point, you’ll definitely want to consider Churchill Meadows.

Below is the median sales price per home type. The median sales price is the price where half of the listed prices are higher and the other half are lower than it. This better represents affordability than the average sales price.

While these figures are updated as much as possible, it’s best to contact us below for real-time pricing.

Finally, please note that “Condo” includes condo townhomes while “townhome” includes both freehold and common element fee townhomes. If you see a dash (-), then this home type has not seen a sale in at least the last 180 days.

Churchill Meadows is one of the best school zones in Mississauga. My clients RAVE about the quality of education their children have received. Parents can rest assured that their children are receiving fantastic education at every level of school.

On the Catholic side there is one standout school above the rest – St. Bernard Clairvaux. If you’re looking at Churchill Meadows in your home search, you’ll want to try and aim for this zone. At high school you’ll enter St. Joan of Arc which is a solid option in the city. That certainly makes settling into this neighbourhood all the more attractive.

Community Life in Churchill Meadows

Churchill Meadows is very much what you think of when someone says the word “suburbia”. And that’s not a bad thing.

Beyond the community centre, the area is well-planned with four major parks that run north to south, so everyone in the neighbourhood has easy access to a playspace. There are also many parkettes, a skate park and plenty of schools and green space to play.

Shopping & Retail

While Churchill Meadows itself does not have a lot of retail, you are only a few minutes away from Mississauga’s 2nd largest flagship mall – The Erin Mills Town Centre. There is a huge retail area surrounding the mall, so Churchill Meadows residents have every retail option at their fingertips.

Ask Me About Churchill Meadows

These are the top four things people usually ask about Churchill Meadows!

Contact Me
  • what's it really like to live in Churchill Meadows?

With great schools, community centres and libraries, and tons of big box store retail, most people love life in Churchill Meadows – I know my clients do. Churchill Meadows is a great family neighbourhood with lots to do for children. It has matured very well and become a closer-knit community.

  • What's the commute like from Churchill Meadows?

Those in Churchill Meadows will feel a bit cut off as the only close highway is the 403. That allows you to hit Oakville easily or you can access the 401 east past Hurontario. GO stations are all within 10-15 minutes, but on busy days this can add a significant chunk of time to your daily commute. It’s not the most ideal neighbourhood for those who need easy highway access or face long commute-times.

  • Why Should I Live in Churchill Meadows?

If you’re looking for more bang for your buck in terms of home size along with a very solid school zone for your children then this is a great place to be.

You’ll also enjoy being a part of the community and utilizing the amenities like the community centre and library.

  • why should i not live in Churchill Meadows?

If you are relying on public transportation or work in downtown Toronto, it’s not the most ideal neighbourhood unless you’re comfortable adding about another 15 minutes to your commute. Not a dealbreaker for everyone, but I know for some it is. Homes are also more tightly packed here with smaller lots, so if you’re needing more outside space this probably wouldn’t be the best fit.
